Driver Material Handler- Swing Shift

 

Responsible for transporting finished goods/ raw materials between warehouse locations within a specific timeframe.  The Material Handler Driver will drive box truck safely and responsibly to and from company locations. They will load and unload materials and finished goods from a truck individually or as part of a team, verifying and transacting loads for accuracy. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Load and unload materials and finished goods from trucks and warehouses using forklifts, lift trucks, pallet jacks, other equipment, and manual effort (as required)
  • Manage inventory electronically using Syspro
  • Drive materials and finished goods between company locations (<10 miles apart)
  • Complete and verify paperwork for deliveries to verify material load
  • Work together with all departments for transportation of materials
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent, and 1-2 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Equivalency to the qualification standard will also be considered
  • At least 25 years old in (due to insurance requirements)
  • A Valid Drivers’ license with a clean driving record
  • Demonstrate great attendance, punctuality, and time sensitivity
  • Must be able to multi-task accurately with overlapping priorities
  • Works well in a collaborative and positive team environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with co-workers and vendors
  • Ability to following all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
