HRIS/Payroll Administrator
This position is responsible for configuration, optimization and support of the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). The HRIS administrator is responsible for high-level report writing as needed for Finance, HR, and other management, overall system performance and maintenance/upgrades, including ensuring information security and data integrity, testing updates, and improving process efficiency. This position serves as a technical point of contact and is the subject matter experts with report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. This position will also be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll via UltiPro for approximately 420 employees and will ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll and provide timely and accurate financial information. CNC Mill Operator I
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Mill Operator I to join the Benchmade Knife Company team. The CNC Mill Operator I is responsible for setting up and operating one or more CNC milling machines for routine production, new products, and prototype product. Positions and secures tooling/ holding devices. Load program, check machine operation and observe operation progress. Change set ups and tools. Replace dull or broken tools as required. Use precision measuring instruments to check accuracy of work. Perform minor maintenance on machine. Set up and operate a variety of equipment to perform secondary operations such as drilling, reaming, tapping, sand blasting, and finishing.

Plant Electrician

The Plant Electrician is responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems, apparatus and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications. Key Account Operations Manager
The Key Account Operations manager is responsible for the day-to-day operating success of Benchmade’s largest customers by maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. The KAOM will ensure processes and systems are efficient and effective between Benchmade and our customers. They will improve our on-time and in-full order processing and mitigate potential disruptions in service. This person will develop a trusting relationship with the retailer’s demand planning team to understand and exceed their operational needs for the entire lifecycle from forecast to shipping complete.
The Key Account Operations Manager reports directly to Director of Sales Operations with a dotted line to Sales Manager and Demand Planning team for retailer.

International Sales Manager
The International Sales Manager is the primary contact between Benchmade Oregon and our distributor and retail partners outside the US. This person will help create and implement the strategy to expand Benchmade’s distribution and brand position in international markets. This position’s primary role is to strategically develop and profitably grow Benchmade’s International sales to meet revenue targets outlined in annual budget planning. Sharpener I
We are currently recruiting for a Sharpener I to join the Benchmade Knife Company team. The Sharpener is responsible for setting up and operating belt, wheel, and buff sharpeners to sharpen knives to a razor sharp edge. This role will sharpen new knives as well as knives returned for warranty repair. This position will be responsible for selecting the appropriate fixtures, belts, and equipment based on documented instructions and knowledge of blade types.
The Sharpener will be required to keep an eye on worn abrasive wheels and belts, and replace them as needed. The role will also inspect knife cutting edge visually and through paper cutting tests, uses tools to ensure proper blade angle, using subjective judgment to ensure edge cosmetics and sharpness. This role may also assist with assembly, cleaning, and boxing of knives as required.

Director of Specialty and Field Sales
This is a critical role; the Director of Specialty and Field Sales will maintain the “tip of the spear” with respect to customer engagement and collaboration at retail. Their goal is to develop, support, grow, and maintain industry leading sales and service for our retail partners. Assembler I-Swing
We are currently recruiting for an Assembler to join the Benchmade Knife Company team. The Assembler is responsible for following written and oral instruction in order to perform a variety of assembly operations to assemble small parts into functioning knives. This role performs fittings and alignments to ensure free action of moveable parts. The Assembler also performs cosmetic inspection of the components as they are assembling in order to ensure a high quality standard. Once inspected, the Assembler tests the knife to ensure functionality and perform minor troubleshooting of any problems. This role strives to meet production and quality goals, and communicate issues immediately to their lead or process technicians if an issue is to arise. Participates in continuous improvement activities as assigned.

Category Manager - Black Class
As part of the Category Management team, your role and responsibility sit in the intersection between product development, marketing, and the sales channels/regions. You own the future! We are looking for strong, confident product minded business leaders to help us craft the products of the future! You will be responsible for developing business strategy via product to achieve net sales, net margin, inventory, and SKU productivity for assigned category.
You are supervising the NPI process and line creation and are responsible for the collection and vision of your area of expertise. You are providing relevant market feedback and analyze sell in and sell out data to better inform your collections and to drive authenticity. To enable smooth proactive product launches, you are creating and managing timelines, interfacing and collaboration between stakeholders and embedding yourself into your customer’s use cases and lifestyle. Assortment planning and sales channel connectivity is one of your measures to optimize customer/channel specific sell in needs. You are aiming to align seasonal plans across functions, to maximize sell in, sell out and contribution margin.
