The CNC Mill Operator I is responsible for setting up and operating one or more CNC milling machines for routine production, new products, and prototype product.  Positions and secures tooling/ holding devices.  Load program, check machine operation and observe operation progress.  Change set ups and tools.   Replace dull or broken tools as required.  Use precision measuring instruments to check accuracy of work.  Perform minor maintenance on machine.  Set up and operate a variety of equipment to perform secondary operations such as drilling, reaming, tapping, sand blasting, and finishing.

The CNC Bevel Operator is responsible for choosing correct fixtures, programs and wheels, setting up the grinder plus maintaining part tolerance once machine is set up.   This role also keeps coolant and water mixture within daily specification; dry and deburr parts. In addition, the operator will shut down and clean machines, change wheels and clean wheel flanges as needed. The CNC Bevel Operator will also perform daily and weekly maintenance, as well as read Process Control Instructions (PCI) and job travelers for product/operation specifications and use micrometers to ensure quality specifications are met.

The HRIS administrator is responsible for high-level report writing as needed for Finance, HR, and other management, overall system performance and maintenance/upgrades, including ensuring information security and data integrity, testing updates, and improving process efficiency.  This position serves as a technical point of contact and is the subject matter experts with report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. This position will be instrumental in the department’s ongoing efforts to automate and streamline internal HR processes.   This position will also be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll via UltiPro for approximately 420 employees and will ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll and provide timely and accurate financial information. This role requires experience and knowledge of current payroll laws and rules and for the person to be a self-starter, highly accurate and detailed oriented.  This role also requires a person who is reliable, punctual, well organized, with excellent follow through and time management to routinely meet deadlines.

This person will help create and implement the strategy to expand Benchmade’s distribution and brand position in international markets.  This position’s primary role is to strategically develop and profitably grow Benchmade’s International sales to meet revenue targets outlined in annual budget planning. Additional key responsibilities include analyzing market, product, and competitive trends; and managing and motivating the sales efforts of our external distributor and dealer partners.  Primary duties will include domestic, international travel to trade show/events, oversee all key International customers as well as prospecting directly with channel partners through focused promotion of Benchmade products.

The Assembler is responsible for following written and oral instruction in order to perform a variety of assembly operations to assemble small parts into functioning knives.  This role performs fittings and alignments to ensure free action of moveable parts.  The Assembler also performs cosmetic inspection of the components as they are assembling in order to ensure a high quality standard.  Once inspected, the Assembler tests the knife to ensure functionality and perform minor troubleshooting of any problems.  This role strives to meet production and quality goals, and communicate issues immediately to their lead or process technicians if an issue is to arise. Participates in continuous improvement activities as assigned.
